Compatibility Considerations
In previous releases, the default startup directory was \Work, located in the directory
in which MATLAB was installed. For example, in R2006b, if you installed MATLAB in
C:\Program Files, the default startup directory was C:\Program Files\MATLAB
\R2006b\Work.
